Intercessory Prayer: Each Sunday morning and
Wednesday evening before the service, assigned and trusted
intercessors gather for an hour of intercessory prayer to
prepare for the morning/evening celebration. Our Sunday
morning/Wednesday Night intercessors focus on revival and
what the Lord wants to do in each service: pastor intercession,
the worship team, those who would attend the service and how the
Lord may want to touch each individual in the service.
Intercession takes place throughout the week and takes many
different forms and focuses, but Sunday morning/Wednesday Night
is strategic for the Lord's plans to minister to His people as
we come together in the corporate setting.
Open Intercessory Prayer: Meets on the first and third
Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. These times of
prayer are open to those desiring to join us as we contend for
revival in the Tri-State and in our local church. We spend
a lot of time praying in tongues and coming into a place of
agreement in the Spirit before sharing prophetic words and
praying into those words. Intercessory Prayer at Passion
and Fire is always exciting because we never know what the Lord
is going to do. We love it as He adds the FIRE to our
prayer and really pours out His Spirit as we fellowship with Him
as we seek His purposes.
911 Prayer List: The
911 Prayer List is an email address list with those who have
volunteered to pray for emergency prayer needs within the Body
of Passion and Fire Worship Center and immediate friends and
family. Whenever a prayer alert is needed the information
is sent through an email address list notifying the intercessors
of the emergency request. Many are familiar with the
"Prayer Chains" of old that worked by calling on the
telephone, down a list to make prayer needs known. The
tech-era has made prayer notification quick, simple and
effective to make other intercessors aware of needs in the
church and mobilizes intercessors for these needs. In the
case of a life and death situation, of course the telephone is
still the fastest way to get the word out, but with the 911
Prayer List, many of the body's needs are relayed to those who
will pray for them.
